Hey everyone, what is a good, yet short dance to show off to people without embarassing yourself? I would prefer a list of short dances or a list of websites where you could learn how to do simple dances. Dances like the white boy dance, the point, etc. etc.

This is a dance for dance pe and I has to represent an emotion and we are doing excited. But the catch is it can’t be a turn jump leap or trick . Btw a leap is jumping off one leg but landing on the other.

I was watching the news the other night and saw where the airport screening has people stand on the green footprints then the yellow ones, I figured a good workout with Dance Dance Revolution would keep them from causing a security scare. Do you think Dance Dance Revolution works on a black & white TV?

Question by J: Is there a Dance Dance Revolution mat without a console that has good graphics and songs?
I saw two on Amazon, but all the customer reviews basically said that they sucked. Bad graphics, songs, wasn’t working correctly, etc. I do not have an Xbox or Playstation or whatever, and I would love to buy a DDR mat, without having to buy an expensive console. HELP!
The mats I looked at were: Dance Dance Revolution DDR TV Pad (No Console) and 2 Players Dance Dance Revolution Blue Twin DDR TV Pad. Apparently, they stink.
If there is one, where can I order it, or buy it? Ordering would be better, I think…

Well – you can always goto RedOctane.com because they have all sorts of pads cheap and expensive – whether you want a metal pad or a plastic pad. Also, check out MyMyBox.com, they also have cheap plastic mats – but if you’re into heavy playing I would recommend buying a metal pad. They all come with PS2, Xbox and USB hookups.

best DDR games on PS2 are DDR Extreme (you can pick up a copy of that on ebay for 50c), and DDR SuperNova.
Extreme has the best song choice by far while supernova has some good songs that Extreme doesn’t have. Extreme has all of the features of the previous mixes as well.
In terms of pads, bluesharks are the best type of pads for consoles; they are around $ 300 but what you get is a premium arcade experience (metal mat with bar). if you aren’t willing to spend that much on a ddr mat then i think you can pick up a Cobalt Flux mat for around $ 120. (I’m not entirely sure on the sites that sell these but i know they are available from experience)

So I dance 3 dances a week and I dance tap, jazz, and ballet. I have taken some lyrical classes and I’m thinking of re-taking them. (I do competitive dance) I really want to dance at my school talent show and I was thinking about dancing to My Immortal as a lyrical but I also wanted to look at some modern day jazz dance songs but I can’t seem to find any with out curse words. If you’re a fan for the DDR genre, it’s worth playing. One interesting feature is that you can use your mii character, which is pretty fun to watch. It’s not that much different than the previous Hottest Party, they added a few more characters. The dancing animation is kind of weird but some of it is funny.
A good portion of the songs are still done by the original artists and the new songs are alright. The collection isn’t as great as the previous ones for PS2 but it’s still a decent dance game to get.

I don’t know much about reviewing games but I can tell you this much. If you have played the DDRs for the Playstation consoles, DDRHP won’t appeal to you as much. However, the innovative “gimmicks” and “hand signals” are always fun to play with. With other DDR fans, Hottest Party is a blast.
As for the graphics, they are “good graphics”. They aren’t pixalated but they aren’t HD. Like what you would see on a normal TV channel.
Now, between 1 and 2. 1 has lasts longer and, in my opinion, has better songs. 2 has more customizability and the songs that 1 doesn’t have. I’m sure if you checked on gamefaqs or ccc they would have ratings from several sites.
