Question by alyoop: Dance party games for an 11yr olds birthday party?
So I am planning a dance party for my sisters 11th birthday this Saturday and we are stumped on figuring out games. We are going to play freeze dance, musical chairs, teaching eachother dances, just dancing in general, and Spoons. We are looking for some more fun, dance themed games. Pleae help!

Question by Mel: Will a PS3 Dance Dance Revolution mat work with PS2 DDR games?
I have a PS2 version of DDR (Supernova 2) and would like to play it on our PS3 (60 gig). If we get a PS3 dance mat, will it work with the PS2 game or only PS3 versions of DDR?

Contains some Songs/genre from other Countries – Korean/chinese/japanese
Use directional pad to play, kind of like Dance Dance Revolution or Audition.

QQ dance/Zing Dance is not in english :(

Are there any good Dance Dance Revolution games/pads on the PS2? I want to buy one but I don’t know which are fun or not fun. Also, could you give me a list of family-fun games? Thanks very much!!!!

best DDR games on PS2 are DDR Extreme (you can pick up a copy of that on ebay for 50c), and DDR SuperNova.

Extreme has the best song choice by far while supernova has some good songs that Extreme doesn’t have. Extreme has all of the features of the previous mixes as well.

In terms of pads, bluesharks are the best type of pads for consoles; they are around $ 300 but what you get is a premium arcade experience (metal mat with bar). if you aren’t willing to spend that much on a ddr mat then i think you can pick up a Cobalt Flux mat for around $ 120. (I’m not entirely sure on the sites that sell these but i know they are available from experience)

I’ve been hearing very good things about the video game dance dance revolution being used for excersize. We don’t own a PS2 or video game console but we do have a PC. I’d like to purchase some Win XP PC DDR games if they are available.

dont get a dance dance on pc it uscks it’s worth every penny to get a ps2 or xbox it’s not worth the money.

What are some good games for Wii that make you dance and workout?

Question by meowmixplsdeliver: What are some good games for Wii that make you dance and workout?
I’ve never had a Wii before and I want to get some games that are dance games. I want ones that make you sweat, a good workout. Not to a point where it hurts a lot, but where it’s fun and very energetic.
I already know about Dance Dance Revolution, but they have 3 kinds. They look like they don’t have much dance music, it’s more like popular r&b and stuff. I like the techno stuff.

Any suggestions?

Well you can get wii fit, its not dancing but its just as fun.
