Question by Bekah: How do you dance at school dances?
Ok, so I have a school dance coming up. I’ve always been too busy to go to the past ones, so this will be my first. I took dance class when I was like, four, but that was ballet anyway and I don’t know how to dance now! What are some tips you could give me? On partner dancing or dancing alone.

All you do is like jump up or down, or grind, or just kinda hug and swing back and forth.

Our school dances were pretty lame. They were during the day and everyone just danced like as if they were at a club. It’s not a one-on-one thing. Just dance for fun. I rarely danced. People just go to socialize. I would sometimes just stay in class and play poker with the guys. LOL
High school dances are totally different so it depends what grade you’re in.
The last school dance that I went to, was back in grade 7. No one really goes to them. School dances are pretty lame.
haha. i just jump up and down. not much of a good dancer. i’ve slow danced before though. either way, just feel the beat of the song & go from there. good luck ~

grinding….but then we got kicked out because we were “innapropriate”…but it was fun! you should try gettin kicked out of a school dance! it fun!

Watch the movie Footloose. Dance like them just for fun….gets the party going….just don’t do provocative dances or you will be labeled.
